Mid-century 20th century vintage brass and copper mesh planter. Its elongated oval form, pierced brass latticework and warm copper-toned frame give it a distinctive look that works beautifully in both traditional and more eclectic interiors.
This jardinière is ideal for displaying potted plants, trailing ivy, seasonal bulbs or a collection of terracotta pots. The open mesh sides create a light, airy appearance while allowing glimpses of the brass-toned interior tray.
The combination of brass and copper tones gives the piece warmth and character, making it equally at home on a dining table, console table, windowsill, orangery shelf or garden room display. It also works well as a decorative centrepiece filled with fruit, dried flowers or other seasonal arrangements.
The planter retains a lovely aged patina with wear and oxidation consistent with age and use, adding to its decorative appeal and vintage character.

Fantastic! Beautiful! I have been hunting for some Alfred Corneau urns for many years, as most sellers won't send them internationally, as well as at such a reasonable exchange rate. Very happy! : )
