A beautiful set of three French vintage kitchen storage jars in softly tinted aqua glass, each retaining its original glass lid and metal wire closure. Two jars are embossed SOLIDEX, while the slightly narrower third jar is marked SOLIDOR, creating a naturally collected set with subtle variation in shape.
Dating from the mid 20th century, these 1 litre French pantry jars were originally used for preserving and kitchen storage. Their rich blue-green glass, simple utilitarian forms and aged metal fastenings give them a wonderfully authentic character that suits rustic kitchens, pantry shelving and French country interiors beautifully.
The softly waisted silhouettes and thick pressed glass catch the light beautifully, while the worn closures add texture and age. Perfect for styling with dried goods, utensils, flowers or simply displayed together as decorative vintage kitchenware.
