A French vintage ceramic dish with a bold, colourful glaze.
The surface is divided into expressive sections of colour, with rich green, deep cobalt blue, warm ochre and earthy brown flowing into one another across a soft, creamy ground. The glaze shows beautiful variation, with subtle pooling and movement from the firing.
The dish has a wheel-thrown form, visible in the soft concentric lines on the reverse and the gently irregular profile. The rim is slightly undulating, adding to its handmade feel and giving the piece a relaxed, organic presence.
The reverse is finished in a warm brown glaze with a small hanging loop, allowing it to be displayed on the wall as well as used on a table. It works particularly well layered with other ceramics or as a standalone decorative accent.
A piece with a strong mid-century influence, bringing colour and contrast to shelves, walls or tabletop displays.

The vintage glass storage jars are exactly as advertised. Excellent customer service! I placed two separate orders several days apart, but they were packed and shipped together. I was quickly reimbursed for overage shipping costs before even requesting a refund! Each jar was very well packed to minimize chance of breakage in transit, and they all arrived undamaged. I will shop here again!
Fantastic! Beautiful! I have been hunting for some Alfred Corneau urns for many years, as most sellers won't send them internationally, as well as at such a reasonable exchange rate. Very happy! : )
