Vintage French Wooden Paddle Cutting Board 15"

A lovely vintage French wooden cutting board with a distinctive paddle shape, beautifully worn surface and soft, naturally aged patina.

Made from solid wood, this old French chopping board has an attractive teardrop-shaped body with gently curved sides tapering towards a short handle with a hanging hole. Its pale, honey-coloured wood displays numerous knife marks, subtle variations in colour and darker areas of wear around the edges, reflecting many years of use in a French kitchen.

Measuring 38 cm in length and 23 cm at its widest point, the board has particularly appealing proportions. Its gently irregular outline and softly worn edges add to its character, while the unusual shape makes it an attractive decorative piece.

Perfect for displaying upright against a kitchen wall, resting on open shelving or arranging alongside antique pottery, copper and other traditional kitchenware. A lovely addition to a French country or rustic kitchen.
