This small French antique terracotta bowl features a striking yellow ochre glaze with a traditional green jaspé decorated interior. Hand-thrown in earthenware, the bowl has a wonderfully rustic character.
Likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, the bowl reflects the regional pottery traditions of southern France, where these richly coloured lead glazes were widely used.
A beautifully decorative piece for open shelving, kitchen styling or layered pottery displays.
