Large French Vintage Vallauris Pottery Shell Bowl 15.2"

Striking French vintage Vallauris pottery bowl in the shape of a shell. It is glazed with bright orange and has an abstract design in brown, blue and white. This beautiful ceramic dish would make a gorgeous mid century centrepiece. 

Condition: It is in very good vintage condition. 

Vallauris pottery, made in the small town of Vallauris in Provence, is celebrated for its distinctive glazes, earthy tones, and bold mid-century designs. The town became especially famous in the 20th century when artists such as Picasso worked with local potters, elevating the tradition into an art form.
