The rectangular form of the jardinière is raised on four feet and features a garland panel centred with a floral rosette, framed by softly worn detailing that reflects its age. The surface has developed a deep, dark patina with traces of earlier finishes, giving it a grounded, understated presence.

Originally made as a planter, it retains its drainage hole and solid weight, making it both practical and decorative. It is a versatile piece that works well planted with herbs or greenery, or simply displayed as an object in its own right.
