A tall antique pottery bottle decorated in the Iznik style with animals and floral motifs, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The design features a deer and rabbit among stylised flowers, painted in cobalt blue, green and manganese tones.
Likely produced in the Ottoman ceramic tradition, possibly Kutahya, the bottle reflects the revival of historic Iznik designs during the late Ottoman period. The slender form and richly detailed decoration make it a striking decorative piece.
It displays beautifully on a shelf, table or within a collection of antique ceramics.
