Two French antique terracotta faisselles or cheese strainers, used to make cheese. These rustic earthenware pots have the Star of David scratched into each. They would make a gorgeous addition to a kitchen shelf to add a touch of French farmhouse charm.
They have much wear, each has a crack (please refer to the photos) and most of the glaze has worn.
