An elegant pair of French antique silver-plated candlesticks with richly detailed repoussé decoration and classical urn motifs. Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, the candlesticks feature tall tapering columns raised on circular bases with decorative gadrooned borders.
The softly aged silver plate has developed a beautiful timeworn patina, with hints of the warm copper base showing through in places, adding depth and character.

Condition: They have old repairs at the base. One has a couple os small holes in the base. There are small dents along with wear to the silver plate and general signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Please see the images.
