French vintage brass birdcage lamp base with pretty little ceramic birds perched inside. This sweet lamp base with it's domed form and stepped base is highly distinctive. It dates from circa 1950. A perfect decorative accent piece.
Pair with a simple linen or silk lamp shade to highlight the form of the base and display on a bedside or console table.
Condition: There is wear and discolouring to the brass, particularly to the base. In vintage condition. It has not been tested and will have to be rewired in line with your local electricity supply. Please refer to images.
