A striking French Art Deco panther sculpture on a marble base. The black panther ornament has copper-painted highlights and is sculpted in a strong, prowling pose. It is mounted on a rectangular base of cream marble with black and white detailing.
This piece works well displayed on a console table, shelf or mantelpiece. It pairs nicely with other Art Deco pieces, dark woods, or marble surfaces, and adds a sculptural touch to both modern and vintage interiors.
Condition: There is a small hole to the side of the panther, possibly from when it was made. There are a few scratches and some loss to the copper on one of the paws. Please refer to the images.
