French antique ceramic planter from Castelnaudary. The pot has a stripe drip glaze in yellow, green and brown. This antique cache pot in terracotta, so typical of the pottery in the South of France, would make a wonderful decorative accent.
It originates from the town of Castelnaudary, famed for it's pottery, and sits by the Canal du Midi in the Languedoc region of South West France.
There is some wear to the glaze which adds to the timeworn character of this lovely French antique planter. Please check the photographs.
