Beautiful pair of antique French curtain hooks dating to the second half of the 19th century. Highly ornate, the ends are adorned with lion heads. They would make a wonderful addition to a salon or bedroom, adding a touch of French elegance. They could also be used as hooks in a hallway or kitchen.
There is some wear commensurate with age, the gilt has almost completely worn off and they have a more silver-tone colouring.
