This 19th century terracotta cache pot originates from Castelnaudary, a town by the Canal du Midi, in the Languedoc region of South West France. This beautiful planter, so typical of the pottery of the South of France, would make a wonderful decorative accent.
There is wear and loss to the glaze which adds to the timeworn character of this lovely French antique planter. Please check the photographs.
