Antique French confit pot with yellow glaze. Originally used to preserve meats in the South of France, the terracotta has a rich patina and mustard yellow glaze is beautifully warm. This confit jar could be placed on console table or kitchen counter, fill it with dried flowers or display with a collection of pots.
Condition: There is a crack from the rim, as well as a chip and general loss to the glaze in places, please refer to the photos.
