Antique French confit pot with yellow glaze, dating to the eighteenth century. Originally used to preserve meats in the South of France, the terracotta has an incredibly rich patina. This confit jar would look beautiful as a piece of statement decor on a console table or kitchen counter, fill it with dried lavender for that extra touch of French charm.

There is loss to much of the glaze and a couple of cracks, please refer to the photos. All of the imperfections add to it's stunning charm.
