Beautifully timeworn antique brick, used for heating the bed. This everyday object, dating from the nineteenth century, would have been heated in an oven or fire then wrapped in cloth and placed in the bed. This one is a beautiful colour and would make a wonderful display.
This piece has a lot of wear to the glaze and some chips, which is what attracted us to it.
