Made from solid wood, this old French chopping board has a traditional rectangular form with angled shoulders leading to a short, squared handle with a small hanging hole. Its warm wood displays a wonderful collection of fine knife marks across the surface, together with natural variations in the grain and colour, reflecting years of use in a French kitchen.
Measuring 34 cm in length and 21.8 cm in width, this vintage cutting board has attractive proportions and a pleasingly simple design. The unusual shape of its handle gives it particular decorative appeal, making it a lovely addition to a collection of traditional French kitchenware.
Perfect for displaying upright against a kitchen wall, resting on an open shelf or arranging alongside antique pottery, copper and other rustic kitchen accessories. A lovely piece for a French country or farmhouse-style interior.

The vintage glass storage jars are exactly as advertised. Excellent customer service! I placed two separate orders several days apart, but they were packed and shipped together. I was quickly reimbursed for overage shipping costs before even requesting a refund! Each jar was very well packed to minimize chance of breakage in transit, and they all arrived undamaged. I will shop here again!
Fantastic! Beautiful! I have been hunting for some Alfred Corneau urns for many years, as most sellers won't send them internationally, as well as at such a reasonable exchange rate. Very happy! : )
