A lovely vintage French wooden cutting board with a beautifully worn surface and an unusual curved wooden handle.
Made from a substantial piece of solid wood, this old French chopping board has a generous rectangular shape with a pale, naturally aged surface and a contrasting darker wooden handle. The elegantly curved handle is securely attached to one edge with visible screws, giving the board a particularly distinctive appearance.
The wood displays an abundance of fine knife marks, natural variations in colour and attractive grain patterns, reflecting many years of use in a French kitchen. Its softly worn edges and subtle areas of discolouration add further character to this traditional piece of kitchenware.
Measuring 46 cm in length and 29.5 cm in width, this substantial vintage cutting board weighs approximately 2.7 kg. Its generous proportions and unusual handle make it an attractive decorative piece, perfect for displaying upright against a kitchen wall, resting on open shelving or arranging alongside antique French pottery, copper and other wooden kitchen accessories.
A lovely addition to a French country or rustic kitchen, whether displayed individually or as part of a collection of traditional French chopping boards.

The vintage glass storage jars are exactly as advertised. Excellent customer service! I placed two separate orders several days apart, but they were packed and shipped together. I was quickly reimbursed for overage shipping costs before even requesting a refund! Each jar was very well packed to minimize chance of breakage in transit, and they all arrived undamaged. I will shop here again!
Fantastic! Beautiful! I have been hunting for some Alfred Corneau urns for many years, as most sellers won't send them internationally, as well as at such a reasonable exchange rate. Very happy! : )
