Beautifully vibrant set of six vintage French ceramic oyster plates, made by Beretta in the town of Vallauris, Provence. These gorgeous serving plates have space for six oysters and a lemon to the centre. They're in a wonderful ochre yellow glaze with a freeform edge in brown, white and red.
Vallauris pottery, made in the small town of Vallauris in Provence, is celebrated for its distinctive glazes, earthy tones, and bold mid-century designs. The town became especially famous in the 20th century when artists such as Picasso worked with local potters, elevating the tradition into an art form. Today, authentic Vallauris pieces are highly sought after for their craftsmanship and striking decorative style.
