Beautifully rustic French antique terracotta sieve or faisselle, used to make cheese. The pot dates to the early 20th century and is on three small feet. It would make a great display on a kitchen shelf, creating a stunning French farmhouse look, or could perhaps be used as a candle holder to create a warm glow in the centre of a table.
There are a few chips to the rim and general wear commensurate with age and use.
