A beautiful French antique tian bowl with a warm mustard yellow glaze and wonderfully timeworn surface. Traditionally used in the south of France for preparing and cooking food, this piece has the sculptural presence and patina that make these old provincial bowls so sought after today.
The rich honey and ochre glaze to the interior contrasts beautifully with the pale, chalky exterior, worn softly over decades of use.
