A French antique wooden cutting board with a wonderfully worn surface and rich brown patina. This substantial old chopping board has a simple rectangular shape with a short handle and hanging hole.
Years of use have left the wood covered in knife marks, scratches and darker areas of wear, with a shallow hollow formed in the centre of the board. The contrast between the lighter, worn centre and the darker edges gives this piece its distinctive appearance.
A lovely decorative addition to a French country kitchen, perfect for displaying against a kitchen wall, alongside antique pottery or grouped with other rustic wooden cutting boards.
