A rustic antique French terracotta jug, dating to the 19th century, with a beautifully weathered green glaze and an exceptionally textured surface. The rounded body, narrow neck, flared rim and single curved handle give it the distinctive shape of a traditional French country pottery vessel.
The upper portion retains areas of rich green glaze, contrasting with the warm, earthy terracotta below. Years of wear have created a heavily textured, almost stone-like surface, with layers of worn glaze and exposed clay giving the jug its distinctive rustic appearance.
Originally made as a practical vessel for everyday use, this antique earthenware jug is now a wonderful decorative piece, perfect for displaying on a mantelpiece, rustic kitchen shelf or alongside other French pottery.

The vintage glass storage jars are exactly as advertised. Excellent customer service! I placed two separate orders several days apart, but they were packed and shipped together. I was quickly reimbursed for overage shipping costs before even requesting a refund! Each jar was very well packed to minimize chance of breakage in transit, and they all arrived undamaged. I will shop here again!
Fantastic! Beautiful! I have been hunting for some Alfred Corneau urns for many years, as most sellers won't send them internationally, as well as at such a reasonable exchange rate. Very happy! : )
