French Vintage Wooden Cutting Board with Handle 19.9"

A wonderful vintage French wooden cutting board with a beautifully worn surface, generous proportions and a traditional rounded handle.

Made from solid wood, this old French chopping board has a broad rectangular shape with softly chamfered corners and a short handle with a hanging hole. Its pale, naturally aged wood displays an abundance of knife marks, subtle variations in colour and darker areas of wear along the edges, reflecting many years of use in a French kitchen.

Measuring 50.5 cm in length and 4 cm thick, this is a particularly substantial example, weighing approximately 3 kg. Its simple, practical form and richly textured surface make it a lovely decorative piece for a French country or rustic kitchen.

Perfect for displaying against a kitchen wall, alongside French pottery and other wooden kitchen utensils, or as part of a collection of traditional French kitchenware.
