Beautifully rustic French antique copper ferrat, a vessel used to carry water, from the Auvergne region. Dating to the early 19th century, the copper vessel is full of a rich patina and verdigris to the handles and body, a wear that only comes with age and use.
It would make a wonderful decoration, the utilitarian piece could be repurposed as a champagne bucket to grace a farmhouse table or perhaps to hold logs by a fireplace.
