Magnificent antique French copper cauldron. With it’s hammered copper body, wrought iron handle and rivets around the top, it is beautiful and a real statement piece. The cauldron dates from the 19th century, though we believe the chain is a later addition.
The piece is not watertight as it has a pin-prick hole, as shown in the pictures but it would make a stunning log basket or simply displayed as it is.
