Antique French tian bowl with a yellow glaze to the inside. This terracotta bowl, also known as a confit bowl, has a beautiful patina and originates from the Narbonne area on the Mediterranean coast of South West France. This stunning piece, so typically French, would have been used to prepare confit. It would make a beautiful French farmhouse style decor.
The tian is in good antique condition. There is a small hairline crack to the lip on the inside of about 1.5”/3.75cm and some scuffs and crazing to the glaze which adds to it’s character.
